  • Ramalingeswar Park is a beautifully renovated urban oasis located in Berhampur, right in front of Gowtham Theatre and near Annapurna Market in Berhampur
  • The park stands on the historical Ramalingam Tank, a pre-independence era pond that had become dilapidated over time. The renovation began in 2017, with development completed at a cost of approximately ₹12 crore
  • It was officially inaugurated on January 4, 2021, by CM Naveen Patnaik via video conferencing. The venue covers about 8.783 acres and features recreational spaces, nice promenade, and a central 35-foot high statue of Lord Shiva in a yogic pose

Laser Light & Musical Fountain Show

  • A major attraction is the Musical Fountain with 3D laser show, launched as a New Year’s gift to the city. Inaugurated on December 30, 2021, this installation cost around ₹6.94 crore and features advanced DMX/RDM-controlled fountain technology from OASE, Germany—a system also used in cities like Dubai, Seoul, and Paris
  • The show includes 3D mapping effects, laser graphics, original compositions by the Indian Ocean band, and voiceovers by renowned artist Jitendra Prasad, with the script developed under scholarly guidance
